Please note: This fabric is 36" wide and comes pre-starched. The starch is water-soluble and washes out easily, revealing a soft cotton fabric.

Fabric is priced & sold by the 1/4 yard. If you would like to purchase more than 1/4 yard please increase the quantity to create one continuous cut of fabric.

Shweshwe is manufactured with an acid discharge and unique printing technique on pure cotton calico. The fabric comes in various colors and a large variety of designs. Traditional shweshwe colors include brown, blue and red. The colors have since expanded to include vivid shades of gold, pink, green and turquoise.
