Little Acts of Kindness
Little Acts of Kindness is a little sideways triangular shawl, that bit-by-bit, expands and grow. It serves as a reminder that little actions amount to great change over time: and if we act in the mindset of doing good and serving others, then that will affect positive change over time. So if it seems like your acts of service aren’t making any change, think to your knitting: each stitch on their own doesn’t do much, but together, they transform your yarn into something beautiful and magical.
This shawl is simple to adjust for different yarn weights and yardages as both sides of the design use the same amount of yarn. Weigh your yarn and split it into two cakes (or take note of the weight as you work the pattern) to ensure that both sides will have enough yarn to spare. As an alternative version of this shawl, you can continue working the increase section as long as you like, without decreasing.
