Mandala Hat & Cowl

Finished Measurements: One size: hat fitting loosely 20" around head, and cowl about 22" around neck.
Materials Used: Approximately 600 yds of fingering weight yarn to make both hat and cowl. Used here: 1st version in Caterpillargreen, Shawl in Blue Light / 2nd version done in Rowan Fine Tweed.
Needle Size: 4.5 mmm crochet hook (or size required to obtain gauge)
Pattern Includes: Written instructions and photo tutorial.
Skill Level: Advanced beginner.

I’ve used the Blue Light Shawl self-striping yarn from Caterpillar Green. Any heavy fingering weight yarn would work well for this pattern.
