Small Things Romper
Small Things is a timeless design for babies knit from top down with a clever self-border edge and slipped stitch details. Patterns include 7 sizes (NB-2T) and 4 finishing styles including the option to for bunting style fold-over mitts!
Gauge: 19 sts & 25 rows = 4" in stockinette
Finished Measurements: Chest: 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22)" Length: 8 1/2" (9 1/2", 10 1/2", 11 1/2", 12 1/2", 13 1/2", 14 1/2")" Neck Width: 3 (3 1/2", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 3 3/4", 4 1/4", 4 1/4")" Long Sleeve: 4 (5, 6, 6 1/2", 7, 7 1/2", 8)" Short Sleeve: 2 (2 1/2", 3, 3, 3 1/2", 3 1/2", 4)"
Materials Used: In worsted weight yarn you will need approximately 380 (410, 450, 500, 560, 630, 710) yards.
Needle Size: Double pointed needles (or needles appropriate for your preferred method of small circumference circular knitting) and circular needles in US sizes 8 (or size required to obtain gauge). For sizes up to 12 months, a 16" length will work well. A 20" length will work better for the larger sizes. Additionally, double pointed needles two sizes smaller than that required to obtain gauge will be necessary if you wish to knit the Eyelet Ruffle or the Grow-With-Me Ribbed cuffs.
