Ursula and Uma
Who doesn't love a good hug? Ursula and Uma couldn't agree more and have extra long arms just for hugging! This knitting pattern will show you how to knit Ursula and Uma the Understanding Monsters, a pattern I designed to highlight the yummy hand-painted yarns from The Scarlet Fleece. This is a quick, easy, satisfying project that knits up quickly on many yarn/needle combinations. This pattern is very addicting and you will find yourself knitting a whole herd of huggable monsters!
Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing wont show through,
Finished Measurements: Samples range from 11” tall to 18” tall
Materials Used: 220-260 yards for mom, 100-130 yards for baby
Needle Size: You pick! A 40" circular needle in a size appropriate for you yarn. See the pattern for more info
Pattern Includes: Written direction and photos. Pattern also includes 4 samples knit in various gauge yarns and a fun story about Ursula and Uma.
