Aster Tee

The Aster Tee is a sweet little short sleeved shirt, perfect for Spring and Summer. The Aster flower stitch that decorates the yoke is a fun detail and is the perfect place to showcase some of your favourite mini skeins. It features drop shoulders, a deep scoop neckline, and sleeves shaped with short rows. Aster is knit from the bottom up and in the round using fingering weight yarn.

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch worked in the round, blocked, on larger needles.

Materials Used: This pattern uses one Main Color (MC) and one five skein set of 20g mini skeins. One complete mini skein set will be enough for any size.

• Sweet Fiber Cashmerino 20 115 g (4 oz)/ 400 yds (366 m); 70% Super wash Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
• Fingering Weight in Marshland; 510, 576, 656, 743, 840, 933, 1055, 1142, 1246, 1326 yds

Contrasting Color:

• Sweet Fiber Sock 25 g (0.9 oz) / 90 yds (82 m); 80% Super wash Merino, 20% Nylon
• Fingering Weight in Tea Leaves, Moonstone, Shipwreck, Spruce and Bruin. Each uses less than 20g

Needle Size: US4 / 3.5 mm and US5 / 4 mm circular and/or double-pointed knitting needles (or size to obtain gauge), tapestry needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders.
