The Little Snips Hat was created by Abby Goodman Knits for Freeman's Creative in celebration of our Fifth Birthday!
The hat uses approximately 100 g (230 yards) of DK weight yarn for the main color (MC) and 10 g (23 yards) each in 4 contrast colors (CC) for all sizes.
Sample is shown in Little Fox Vulpine (80% superwash merino / 10% cashmere / 10% nylon
approx 231 yds/100 g per skein)

CC2: Desert Rose

CC4: Nightfall
US 5 (3.75 mm) 16” (40 cm) knitting needle
US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles, or needle size needed to achieve gauge
Stitch markers, if desired
Darning needle, blocking pins and boards, and wool wash, for finishing

27 stitches x 28 rows over 4 in. (10 cm), after blocking, in colorwork in the round
Finished Measurements:
Adult 1: 7.5in. (19 cm) long and 15.25” (38 cm) wide measured around, designed to fit a head circumference of 21-22” (53-55 cm)
Adult 2: 8.25 in. (21 cm) long and 17” (43 cm) wide measured around, designed to fit a head circumference of 23-24” (58-60 cm)
