Pure Joy
Short Description: The combination of garter stitch, short rows and eyelet rows can create the most varied results, but it always guarantees that you’ll have a good time knitting. Enjoy working away on this simple and fun project!
Gauge: 17.5 st and 42 rows to 4” (10cm) in garter st on US 6 (4 mm) needles after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but changes might result in a different yardage requirement (especially for Color A).
Finished Measurements: 82 inches (205 cm) from side to side and 14 inches (35 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).
Materials Used: 2 skeins of Pura Sock by Pura Hilados (100% merino; 440 yards [401m]/100g); or approx. 800 yards of fingering weight yarn in 2 colors. You will need 430 yards in color A (shown in colorway Nevadita Candy) and 380 yards in color B (shown in colorway Too Rainy). Attention: Many skeins of fingering weight yarn have only 400 yards, but most testers used more than that for color A.
Needle Size: US 6 (4 mm) needles
