RSS Freaky Familiars Layer Cake

Familiars are those magical little animal sidekicks that hang out with witches and other spooky characters. They were the perfect inspiration for Kimberly Kight’s fake cereal in her Egg and Friends collection. That cereal box turned into a fun Halloween collection featuring a not-too-scary crew of bats, frogs, cats, goofy spiders, and owls. Alexia added some witchy touches with ephemera, friendly jack-o’-lanterns, and new Halloween shades of Starry, while Melody brought in her print Who Cooks for You, named after the Barred Owl’s call. It all comes together in a playful, slightly spooky vibe, in their new collaborative collection Freaky Familiars, featuring a palette of classic Halloween colors accompanied by pops of citron and teal!

100% Quilting Cotton fabric from Ruby Star Society

Layer Cakes include 42 squares of 10" each.  Versatile for all kinds of projects.  One layer cake plus some yardage will make a good-sized quilt top.  Great size to get a good chunk of each fabric to see the whole design.
